Let's help the children of Nicaragua!
As the poorest country in Central America, Nicaragua has tremendous needs.
Children in Nicaragua are some of the most vulnerable in the world.
Because Nicaragua is the safest country in Central America, there is a tremendous opportunity to meet those needs.
WHY NICARAGUA NEEDS OUR HELP
The statistics are unbelievable!
Of the 6 million people in Nicaragua:
WHAT CAN WE DO?
With partnerships, anything is possible
Overflowing Hands has partnered with organizations to help support the children and families in Managua, NIcaragua (the capital city).
We are building relationships with other non-profits, churches and local missionaries to make sure we are good stewards of all contributions and resources. Our goal is to empower local citizens so they take ownership in improving the lives of their community.
Hope Centers, Mission Trips and Youth Camps
Since 2015, 8 Hope Centers have been completed around the city of Managua. A Hope Center in NIcaragua is used to support the children and families in a community. Hundreds of Nicaraguan children are fed meals at the Hope Center. Kids go to the Hope Center to be in a safe environment where they can study and be encouraged. Families meet at the Hope Centers to build relationships and support each other.
MISSION TRIPS are planned several times each year to build relationships with the Nicaraguan children and families, support children's summer camp, assist in building projects. Local health care professions are organizing a medical trip.
In 2017, Overflowing Hands is partnerning with Young Life to sponsor our first Young Life camp in Nicaragua. 150+ teenagers from ages 15 to 20 years will come together from 7 different communities.
